Save Ringsfield Hall: A Vision for Nature, Learning, and Community

Introduction

Kinda Education CIC (Kinda) delivers intergenerational, consent-based, and sociocratic nature-based educational spaces rooted in the six principles of Forest School. These principles emphasise child-led play, holistic learning, long-term engagement, and risk-taking in nature under the guidance of skilled facilitators.

Kinda’s pedagogy/way of teaching centers on fostering kindness and community within its “tribes,” which include Alternative Provision (AP) for primary-aged pupils, elders, families, women, and home-educated children. Many AP children referred to Kinda Education face school distress linked to unmet needs and often neurodivergence, needing a feeling of belonging, trust, safety, and freedom.

About Ringsfield Hall

For over 50 years, Ringsfield Hall has been a cornerstone for nature-based education and spiritual growth. Sadly, governance challenges led to its insolvency in 2024, leaving its future uncertain. Kinda Education CIC is stepping forward with a bold plan to restore the Hall, honoring its legacy while reimagining it as a dynamic space for learning, healing, and sustainability.
